MY PRAYER FOR THE WORLD
Oh how I pray for His love to increase,
For all to be drawn to His perfect peace,
Oh how I pray that His love would enfold,
Every lost child who is out in the cold,
That every knee would humbly bow,
Acknowledging Jesus right here and now,
That every tongue, kindred and tribe,
Would confess Him as Lord and daily abide,
With the Savior whose love would impart,
And bind up and heal each broken heart,
Oh how I pray they would turn to Him at last,
Finding that love and peace unsurpassed,
That all who are lost would get up and go,
To the foot of the cross, that He would bestow,
That gift of forgiveness, His love and peace,
Abiding and cleansing such perfect release,
Oh how I pray they would count the cost,
Of our dear Savior's death on the cross,
And they would come in unnumbered throngs,
With Praise on their lips singing Him songs,
Oh how I pray for His love to increase,
For all to be drawn to His perfect peace,
Oh how I pray that His love would enfold,
Every lost child who is out in the cold.
